  1. Our last song is a popular pop song recorded by The Drifters in 1964. The name of this song is “Under the Boardwalk”. The lyrics describe a tryst between a man and his beloved in a seaside town who plans to privately meet “out of the sun” and out of sight from everyone else under a boardwalk. This song was challenging, yet very fun to learn; especially our unique choreography. I hope you enjoy this catchy song, “a travel under the boardwalk”.

  2. In honor of our fabulous country, next we are performing "America The Beautiful" written by Katharine Lee Bates and composed by Samuel A. Ward. This song was originally written by Bates as a poem titled "Pikes Peak". Ward originally wrote the music for a 19th century hymn titled "O Mother dear, Jerusalem". The fantastic collaboration of Bates' lyrics and Ward's music was first published in 1910. This is one of the first songs that we learned, so we hope you enjoy this American patriotic song!
